OSAS Payroll Scheduled Deductions

The period code 5 in scheduled deductions can be used for taking the 401K deduction when processing commission and bonus checks. Enter N in position 5 for all other deductions except 401K and 401K catch up deductions. When paying bonus only and commissions using manual checks select period code 5. Always calculate checks on the first page of the manual check screen. Doing the above will compute just the 401K deductions on the second screen of manual checks. Calculating checks on the second screen of manual checks will not take any scheduled deductions.
